LongBoard Skating Competition On Wet Downhill Slope - Part 1 Let the Games Begin!

Longboard skaters warm up for competion. Surface condition - Wet, paved and ~13% 2 part down hill slope. The experience of boarding "In my opinion, as a flat board rider during my youth ranges from intermediate to expert. Be sure to watch the next two videos with same title, but different subtitle this day in Salem Oregon. The boarding gets more extreme within the next two videos. I refer to this type of boarding as LongBoard Downhill Drifting. They on the other hand will correct me through their comments on the techniques and style of boarding seen in the video with the correct boarding terminology. These are very cool videos to watch and I will attempt to follow more of this type of activity. The road was closed off to traffic and appeared to be well coordinated within the neighborhood. In the other two video, ramps have been added to the skating challenge. My hats off to the parents. Good job and way to bring community and kids together.
