Daisy (one of my foster dogs, now adopted) was a very sweet young dog, but she did not get along well with vacuum cleaners! This shows the quick progress she made after just one counter-conditioning & desensitization session (about 8-10 minutes total).
As always, I only used positive training methods with this dog; both for teaching her some new cues (like sit, down, and roll over), as well as for the correction of her more serious vacuum-cleaner-eating behavior that is seen here. Positive dog training methods are not limited to so-called "soft" dog breeds, nor are they only applicable to teaching your pet tricks (although that is fun, too!)!
How do you use the clicker? What does it mean to the dog?

Oh no, pit bulls, such vicious terrible dogs. Just pause at 2:15...look at that vicious face.
If you could't tell, that was sarcasm. I love pit bulls. They are such sweet dogs that are so misunderstood.

Thanks for this video. Should help a lot with my border collie's developed hatred of motorbikes!
