  • (cont'd)...whats the point of running around everywhere? We still keep this wound inside us, like a splash of mud, which changes nothing; which changes everything. Obviously, were still dancing about all the things we had in common that we used to love so much. Obviously, were still laughing about the silly things, like kids - but not like before.

  • Thnx kh for the translation. I have been given a number of different translations of this song. I think your translation is the best I have come across over these many years of searching. It makes the most sense and seems to be the closest to the few French words I know.

  • Ouahhhhh un super duo, j'adoreeeeee je reviendrais souvent pour l'écouter ca c'est sur...

  • Merci....Could you please give me a good translation of these lyrics in English? The way Lara & Rick duet together with such emotion makes the translation almost unnecessary. However, I would love to have a good translation.

  • I think I got the song from Napster before was illegal to copy it & before Napster was shut down by the RIAA in the early 2000s. The photos were gotten off the internet. Although I down know French this is my favorite version of the song because of how they sing together & with such emotion.

  • I too got this from Napster or AG before it was illegal to DL songs from those sites. This is also my favorite French song for the very same reasons as you. Yes, I did get the photos from the internet. The last photo of Rick & Lara singing together is where I tried to capture the emotion I feel in listening to them dueting. And I too do not speak French, but the way they sing makes the sentiment of this song very 'Evident'

  • There's a bitter taste within us, a dusty taste in everything, and anger that follows us everywhere. There are silences that say a lot, more than all the words we avow, and all these questions dont stand up. Obviously, were still dancing about all the things we had in common that we once loved so much. Obviously, were still laughing about the silly things, like kids - but not like before. And these battles we go off on, its like a weariness, a disgust...

  • salut cette chanson est sur le 1 er album live de lara

  • what is the meaning of 'evidament'?

  • pq qd deux personnes s'aiment ou s'adorent tt est si deifficile et compliké??

  • suuuuperrrr

  • The original song is from Michel Berger . The girl singing this was France Gall . Both are french .

  • Magnifique, vraiment. Si pleine d'émotions. Lara est splendide, et pour le coup, la voix de Rick Allison s'harmonise parfaitement bien avec la sienne. Douceur et puissance des deux côtés. Splendide. ♥

  • Thanks, DrinkingStar, for your kind comment. I got as close as I dared to a literal translation but the lyrics will always seem a bit odd in English. I didn't want to lose the 'feel' of Michel Berger's original though, esp. as he was writing it as a tribute to his late friend, Daniel Balavoine.

je te fais 1014 bisous, dont un très particulier. accepte le..

  • waw c' très beau ce duo
