Sam & Carly are totally a couple. :)
To be honest, I would love Nick to portray a realistic and mature gay or lesbian relationship on t.v., but the religious crazies and moral highhorses would never let it happen.

@The1JAYJAY If Nickelodeon and Dan wanted to they could definitly fit into the iCarly storyline that Spencer is gay. There's so many clues ha but I don't think it's going to happen.

Honestly Nick is always pushing the limits so someday I do expect actual gay characters on Nickelodeon.
A small part of me wanted iOMG to surprise us to reveal that Sam was in love with Carly. Even if Carly did not return the feelings it would be an awesome story.

It would be amazing if Nick or any other program for teens to actually let them portray realistic problems that happen in real life! I'm sure some parents and other people wouldn't like that very much
