The point-blank refusal to assist a homeless child by Cornwall Social Services (Jim Walters) & failure of duty of care, lack of honesty, integrity & impartiality of police (in particular DC Magnus Scott). The embedded & protected homophobic attitudes & practises of numerous named & identified Cornwall police officers remains to this day a serious problem in continued abuse of power & gay prejudice.

@AjSlutboi The Albert Kennedy Trust does stirling work with LGBT homeless youth in Manchester & London. Unfortunately they are not national in their UK coverage.

In the South West of the UK AVOID the 'Intercom Trust' at ALL cost, who ADDED considerably to the abuse of Peter by the homophobic police & other instuitutions by REFUSING to assist Peter!!!!

Ofsted FINALLY carried out an inspection of Cornwall's Social Services Children's Services...CONDEMNING THEM....forcing the resignation of the DIrector (Who refused to give any assistance to Peter).. Unfortunately the police officers & individual social workers ALL who refused to help are STILL in post. Pete is 22yrs old this year, My mum is still his landlady!

I wish I lived closer to Peter, but sadly I'm on the other side of the world in Australia. To be punished for simply being gay is wrong, and it saddens me that people still suffer at the hands of people who should know better. If I could ever meet him, I would offer my assistance and do what I could to give him an environment where he could be safe. And if he ever gets an opportunity to read my comment, I'd like him to know that not everyone is this bad and that there is still hope.

This not only happens in Cornwall but in 95% of the country the government should but ashamed people are let down by the so call professionals who are suppose to protect them being different is not a crime unless it annoys a bully and most of the police are

Someone needs to kick some of them Cornwall fuckers in the ass. Being gay isn't something to be ridiculed and gay youth need to be protected just like the straight kids do.
