@uzook Why didn't you list the fact that male (not sure if females do it too) emperor penguins face depression and may leave the group to die on purpose (Commit suicide)?

"Same sex relationships" could mean "homosexual", "best buddies", "no reliable female around", or "dominance factor".

Some animals do it for dominance (One dog mounting another.), and they more than often switch back to the opposite sex for reproduction, if they do not, they will die out very quickly.

Animals do all sorts of things (Cannibalism, killing, etc.), but giving them human labels requires LOTS of study, not simple observation.

I guess that means I should be able to eat my young then.
