  • Saw the Ithaca College Wind Ensemble play this, and I cried twice.

  • Awww I miss this so much. Our woodwind feature in our opener for marching band was based on this. So beautiful

  • From around 5 minutes on is our opener for our marching show this year. Just a much more intensified version however lol.

  • This song was originally composed for my high school!!!

  • @sailormew2000 my marching show is dedicated to the same thing, or we go to the same school... I don't know

  • I got to meet John Mackey today and see some of his songs done by a great wind ensemble. I also got to hear a lot about his inspiration for composing and things like that. It was such a great experience! Did you know he doesn't play any instruments? :) Except a bit of piano which he claims he is not very good at!

  • Southmoore High School Marching Band, "Remembrance"

  • Our entire marching band show was based on this piece, which was based on the U2 song "Where the Streets Have No Name"

Random info, but it's so amazing how music can have such a strong impact on so many.

  • This entire piece is so beautiful! i never cried for a song before this one

  • this is too pretty

  • Beautiful solo clarinet!
