can anyone tell me why I am getting Access denied when I Start the ANSYS, Inc. License Manager?

@halotropia Thank you so much for your effort. I followed the steps you mentioned and I have all three running now, ANSYS APDL opens fine with me but when I try to open Mechanical APDL Product Launcher I get this error message: could not create the file required to determine which products are to be displayed in the license dropdown list. Path:C:\Users\me\AppData\Local
\Temp\anslauncher_products130_ me_0.xml Error:Error: Unable to retrieve licensed site preference information. HELP PLZ -

hey guys, i followed all the instructions in the video but ansys still doesn't work fine.. in fact, in license manager it appears:
Licensing interconnect: running
Licensing Interconnect Monitor: Undetermined
FLEXlm: Undetermined
Also, when I start the program, for example workbench, appears this error:
could not connect to any license server. the server is down or is not responsive
PLEASE HELP!!

hey guys i could install but i start the ansys.exe it is displaying this msg " could not load library ansinfo.dll :this library or a dependent library could not be found in library path while executing "load (C:/Program files/Ansys inc/v130/common files/launcher/lib/ansifo/../a

u can edit the FleximID to match with ur computer
just open server ANSLic Admin utility
and choose "Display the license server machine HostID"
then copy ur Host ID in license file

Another way that work's for me is to kill the Flexm service process and the to Stop / Start the Ansys lic. manager. The service is automatically restoring don't worry ;)
Another thing that I see is that if your Anti-Virus have a Firewall (like ESET) the 'wall' can Block the Port for the Lic. Services, and that's why you can't start the program.
