The ARP-117 is a research prototype of an autonomous robot. Physically, it is based on the Conrad/Arexx RP-6 robot platform, combined with a ONE A110 netbook and a custom-built laser scanner. On the software side, it makes use of Sidux Linux and the OpenCV library. In this particular video we see an early example of autonomous movement.
