Big dumbass? Nah. You should have the POWER to finish it in one punch yes, but it's all about setting up for that power punch. If all you do in a fight is swing for the fences and hope for a one hit knockout then you aren't a good striker. Boxing, Muay Thai, Kickboxing. It's all about setting up for the knockout blow, be it a punch kick combo, or just punches. Wearing down your opponent in MMA is more important than always looking to knock them out. That's why you usually see TKO wins!
