(06/17/10) NEW BRUNSWICK - A New Brunswick city worker (sic) says a video he shot last week on Primary Day (sic) shows him being assaulted and possible voter fraud.

Gideon Weisberg, who was working for Mayor James Cahill's opponent, says he shot the video after seeing a man at Recreation Park with what appeared to be a stack of unopened absentee ballots. The man Weisberg videotaped is Kevin Jones, who is an aide to Cahill. Jones is also accused of assaulting Weisberg.

A new state law says that one person can deliver up to 10 absentee ballots per election. Witnesses claim Jones had much more than 10 ballots.

Jones has been charged with assaulting Weisberg and possessing the ballots.

News 12 New Jersey tried to track down Jones, but were unable to reach him. Jones' attorney calls the charges baseless and politically motivated.
