When we took on this quest, i was like" let me bring my new hammer, so i can pwn it with my blue sharpness" but guess i'm the one that got pwned!
Never bringing hammer on beriorosu group quest, since i never get my chance to hit him before it look for another person in the party...

This guy drive me nuts 1v1, I can't beat this without using bombs... What do you recommend as a weapon?

I've already tried with a Fire Fongsword and Elementless Lance.

try use sword and shield for more agile.

the hammer is 2 slow

hammer is still pretty good just that its not a good weapon choice against fast opponent like beri on a team play too. (team play beri will always switch target after each atk which makes it hard for you to super pound him on the face)
