The TARDIS Returns to Spirodon

The 10th Doctor has been given his warning. He will Knock 4 Times.

The Doctor decides to take on his last ever adventure, before returning to the Ood Sphere to find Ood Sigma. He returns to the Planet Spirodon, intent on finishing off something he did not fully complete years ago. An army of frozen Daleks remains burried underneath in vast Ice Chambers below the planets surface.

The native Spirodons hear the sound of the TARDIS and recognise it instantly, remembering the help the Doctor gave them years ago. They tell him of the rising temperatures that have been occuring over the years, and remind him of the Daleks. The Doctor tells them this is exactly what he has returned for. He re-freezes the Chambers once again, telling the Spirodons that he will return 2 times more in the future, looking much more different each time. He leaves int the TARDIS, having secured future events for some of his past Incarnations.

Luke Pietnik has always reccomended i put some effects into my TARDIS Landings, and ive always wanted to know how to actually get some good, proper effects into them. Sony Vegas hasnt had much to offer apart from lense flares, but recently i aqquired a disk for Photoshop CS2 form a reletive and put some glow effects into a still image.

I then created a fade effect for the two clips, one of the TARDIS in position and one of the TARDIS out of view, and faded them into each other with a sound effect of the TARDIS. I then placed some Lens Flares into the right areas with Sony Vegas 9 and then, with a screen composition i placed the Photoshop Glow Effect image in with a fade effect to make a "New Series" Effect.

Ive popped a bit of fog in from Detonation Films and a brighten layer effect to make the whole place "Light Up" with the TARDIS Lights.

I took a screenshot of my filmed TARDIS model, opened it in photoshop and put the glow effect in. Once i had done the fade in of the TARDIS in Sony Vegas, i opened up the picture with the effects on it and set it as transparent over the existing footage, timing it here and there for the sound FX

Thanks for the comment Jason. Ive always been a fan of any jubgle planets, such as Avatar, The Dalek MasterPlan, Star Wars and plenty more. Its upsetting we havent had too mahy Alien Planets in Nu Who. Alot are on Satalites or on Earth. Only a small handfull have been elsewhere. Id love to see a jungle planet in Nu Who. It would be very interesting to see the outcome.
