Watching

Watching is meditation. What you watch is irrelevant. You can watch the trees, you can watch the river, you can watch the clouds, you can watch children playing around. The object is not the point. The quality of observation, the quality of being aware and alert -- that's what meditation is.

Whatsoever you do with awareness is meditation. Action is not the question, but the quality that you bring to your action. Walking can be a meditation if you walk alert. Sitting can be a meditation if you sit alert. Listening to the words can be a meditation if you listen with awareness. Just listening to the inner noise of your mind can be a meditation if you remain alert and watchful. The whole point is: one should not move in a sleep. Then whatsoever you do is meditation

  • @papalolita yes it is so look what object u choose ..porn...laugh...you will be aware by ur laugh .. the projecter which clings us to desired object is inside the MIND the core real to watch ...but first choose such things in which u can easily be aware without involving, pls dnt choose something ugly i suggest u watch playing children or a rose ..u will see the God's magic but i tooks years or can happen in movements...upon u.. 10 years of practice..i get 0..i just come to know how hard it is.

  • @angie305361 the quality of who you are only matters to you. If you were the only person on the planet, "quality" would not be of any value, and would likely not exist, since you would have nothing and no one to "compare" yourself with. May you find "quality" in the present moment and know that what matters in this present moment, quickly becomes irrelevant as you go with the flow of the universe.

  • By being alert or aware, I think he means your thought process as you're going through the motion. If it's a positive one then you're as peace with everything, like almost shall I say, a God state of mind. Just love..... no hate, anger or negativity. That's what I get from it atleast... and it helps. Great video....

  • I think he means that one shouldn't move or act in a sleepy state of mind. The opposite of alert. That's my guess.
