I still have to disagree, because i have read many forums and posts and other things where many people knew Andy more so than they did David and now that they are a part of his band, people are going to his shows. I agree that people wouldn't know about them as much if it weren't for David, since he is the singer, but I think the name the Anthemic still is a great name for them because they are amazing. the name Anthemic doesn't mean everyone comes to see them. I think people do love their sound

Hey, I love the band. Both Andy & Neil are great but nobody would know about them (except locally) if it wasn't for David Cook. David cook is the star.

I am a huge David fan and he is one of my favorite singers, but I totally disagree with you. Actually a lot of people come to see Andy, because of the band he and David were previously in together and Andy was the lead singer as well as Neil. Also, Neil is absolutely amazing on the guitar and Andy is a great singer. Kyle is great on drums too. This band is amazing, and think about it, without them the music you love would not be as great without the beat.

i saw the interviewer right after that outsid at sacramento.. he came to where me and some fans were sitting and told us david gave up the name...

I love David Cook but the term anthemic does not suit the band' music. They are a good band but their music isn't what people love nor does the band's sound have an "atmospheric" feel to it (anthemic). People love David Cook & don't go to his concerts to enjoy the band. The band does not define David Cook. It is David Cook who is the star and the band would fade away without him. He is anthemic, not the band or their music. If he has to have a name, then go with EEB which is what the fans use.
