    i thought that Dickey wrote this since he played it to perfection, I recently read Greg's biography, My Cross to Bear and he says he wrote it. Either way I think it's the best instrumental of the rock era. Course I am biased since I think Dickie was great.A doper, junkie hardheaded Florida cracker-yes all of that is true and he led a horribly fucked up life but the little bastard could sure rip a guitar love Ramblin Man too. I drank much beer and Boones Farm rocking to these guys & I was a cop.
