I've had this album since about the time that it came out, and this song just hit me yesterday. Like a fucking brick wall.

This and Crane Wife are my top favorites by the Decemeberists. Even though you really can't pick a favorite with them, since they make amazing music all around. But this and Crane Wife part 2 are my favorite songs, and they're always on repeat. Viva la the Decemberists!

I completely understand. That's how I started out with these guys. I listened to them because of the songwriting, but soon became in love with the music, too.You will probably like them after a while. But if not, that's okay, of course.
