Yes he was blipping. He wouldn't spin if he was full throttle (he had the brake bias set 100% to the front and was holding the breaks) but it would put too much strain on the engine to just bounce off the rev limiter repeatedly.

During the last part when that Williams was doing donuts, was he blipping the throttle to cause that "barking" sound? I wonder what would happen if he just fully engaged the accelerator or would that cause the car to spin out of control because of the monster torque?

Do they do this in 1st gear as well?
