  • 3)It's better to run a hinge across the top of graphic, that gives you more control when winds kick in, then cut transfer tape about your shoulder's width, you don't wanna go any wider than that. when you remove carrier paper from top to bottom do it halfway the bottom half will keep the rest of the graphic pretty flat and plain. Then keep graphic away from van about 2" away, then squeegee firmly from left to right. good luck! try this method it's easy, I've done for over 16 yrs.

  • Nice video, very informative. Couple of things I caught that might make install easier, 1)when using masking tape for positioning grafix, fold the tip of the masking tape, that will make it easier to pick up. 2)On vehicles like vans, you have to find the straightest line.... if you measure from the top, chances are your design is not straight, because typically van's tops curb a litte bit.

  • Good job on the instal. Cool video.

  • no sound?

  • Always measure from the center line of the rider,if you measure the rear and front of the panel ,its not the same height. to me your decal is uneven.Good rule of thumb is tape it up and stand back about 15 feet to see how it looks.I use a tool belt too,it comes in very handy.

  • I didn't see anything on car wraps on the site. Do yall make them and send them?

  • @justincampbell101 shouldnt use a solution, If you dont get all the moisture out from behind the vinyl it can cause the vehicle to start rusting behind the vinyl graphic.

  • Really helpful vid - thanks!

  • VERY helpful!! Thank you and God bless!

  • Why even tape that up. Its such a little decal. If you wanna make it perfect just get some magnets and do it that way

  • When you use a font or logo that doesn't have a perfectly straight baseline, just draw a straight line in your design software at some point below the graphics before you go to print/cut them, and voila -- a straight line to measure to, and all you have to do is leave it in when you weed your vinyl. It will save you hours of measuring when you use crazy fonts.

  • Floating the stickers, by spraying the sticky part with a 3:1 water & dawn soap mixture then using your puddy knife to get the air out works the best I've found. It allows the sticker to move but also so the bubbles, if you have any, can be gotten out easier.
