Great quality footage. Yeah, commentary would be nice but still it's awesome...

this is a find, and it's confirmed my suspicions - players werent as beefed up in those days; the result is a faster, attacking game...johnny gibbs would disappear up the arse crack of today's players...

I was there with my brother. It was the best time I ever had at a Grand Final.
We had great seats in the Ladies Stand.The Roosters made poor old white boots went out in shame

Easts actually played better winning 19 points to 4 against Canterbury in 1974: St. George were so pathetic that I estimate they missed 65 tackles in the match - and that may be a conservative estimate. Against Canterbury in the last grayscale broadcast, the Roosters had to work very hard for their tries; against St. George, none of their tries would have been scored against decent tackling and two were dubious anyway

Any body remember Rex Mossop,the TV expert predicting the Dragons would win,best team talk Jack Gibson ever needeed.

I have been looking for clips of the greatest, Dave Brown, none at all, same for Reg Gasnier also Equal Greatest, same result, all I got was a minute or so of the Awesome Pom Billy Boston. Rugby League needs to get it's shit together, it's disgraceful.

@rashchallenge74 LOL!!!

Imagine what the score would have been if Mark Harris had played. He'd carved everyone up all year. Could have been 100 - nil.
-
@brettplum I was only 5 nil at half time! Did you for see that Easts would slaughter those hopeless clowns in the 2nd half!

Ha ha. Langlands was high as a kite!
Mate any chance of re doing this with the commentary? This song just doesn't match this awesome clip.....
