Aifric - Season 2, Episode 1, Part 1 of 3
Aifric is an Irish-language TV series aimed at young teenagers, directed by Paul Mercier.
The programme charts the progress of fourteen-year-old Aifric (played by newcomer Clíona Ní Chíosain), along with her somewhat eccentric family, as she tries to settle into her new life in Conamara, having recently moved from Dublin.

I'm American but all of my great grandparents were born and raised in Ireland and ive always been interested to learn about the country and my heritage. im planning to take a year or two of Gaelic then hopefully be able to go to Gaeltacht or anywhere in Ireland!

@waadddupp732 May I ask where you are from? A lot of Irish people find Irish a difficult language to learn. It isn't similar at all to English and there are a lot of grammar rules that are very difficult to grasp. Needless to say though I love the language and if you want to learn it go right ahead but it isn't one of those languages that you can learn over a year or a few months - you would need to spend some time in the Gaeltacht (all irish speaking part of Ireland) in order to learn it well!

@waadddupp732 Our main language is English,it was spoken long ago but not much anymore:) but you have to learn it in school!
