  • The problem is petrol/ gasoline is still too cheap. When the price goes up again, and it will, maybe even more, as peak oil bites in, things will change. I think cycling as transport is great, and needs to be encouraged.

  • For the past 20 years, I have been biking to work.

  • He he he heee he he he .... only $4 a gallon ? ...you guys have such cheap gas. :)

  • @QbidMusicandMore I know the feeling, but I've also noticed that I just can't stuff down enough food to gain weight if I'm riding to the restaurants. It still takes forever to lose weight, but stopping the gain while still eating as much as I want is a really worthwhile effect.

  • go green in the world

  • @tigonridge I pay the equivalent of $12, believe me, $4 is fucking cheep.

  • @leapoffaith20 Cheap? Tell that to people who can barely afford car insurance after rent and food. $4 today, $6-8 very soon. Apparently, you don't think past your nose.

  • $4 a gallon is damn cheep, stop yer whinging you yankie bastards!

  • Perhaps we are requiring a safer place to stoere our bicycles
