As usual, nothing but horrible advice. To avoid speed wobbles, you need proper stance. Turn your feet straight, and inline on the center of the board, and duck down to lower your center of gravity. Speed wobble is caused by having your feet sideways, when you try to stabilize, you end up shifting repeatedly overcompensating in a vicious cycle. Also, you can just carve, which you can also use to slow down by doing S-curves.
