  • @ye11owsn0w We were dip netting at fish creek with all the other locals, we didn't even limit out that day silly. I cooked the best sockeye last night for dinner i use all the meat even though i still need a lot of practice filleting haha. I cook the tiny scraps up for my cat, he loves it too.

  • People should remember that filleting a salmon of that size is a very different thing from the two kilo weenies most of us are used to cutting at home. The larger the fish, the more inevitable waste will be involved.

  • @AKJAMMIN not really, thats meat which is inbetween the bones i.e meat only useful for stocks etc
