I got one of these from inkjetfly for my epson r1800,
absolutely the BEST thing I ever bought,
left a test print out the back, exposed to the sun for 8 months - NO fading,
print costs cut by 90%+
LOVE IT !!!!!

From personal experience and ownership, this CIS is really good and a lot cheaper than the Inkrepublic one. The owner of the company: Leo Chang is also the best customer support guy out there, responds to e-mails within the hour and is a great help. The only difference between a $100 Inkjetfly CIS and Inkrepublic's $250 CIS is the use of external filters (google it for more info), but a $150 increase in price is not worth it when you can just get another damper for a lot cheaper.

Just try to clarify that we use internal filter in dampers. Since IR's damper do not have filter in dampers, they have to use external filters.
Our damper is user replaceable which is much better than external filters.
Also, a customer of us has post a IJF and IR ink comparison. The result is that inkjetfly pigment ink is not only better than IR ink but also provide wider gamut than Genuine Epson ink. Please go to our website "ink comparison" section for more information.
