Fat Andy is played by Louis Eppolito. A real life New York city corrupt cop (actually a police detective) who was in the pocket of the mob. He and his buddy Stephen Caracappa, another corrupted detective, were both convicted and are serving life terms,

Jimmy "Two-times" was a fictional character, developed for the movie. If you haven't read "Wiseguy" by Nicholas Pileggi, you really should. It's great.
