Watch Chef Billy Parisi help "fix" up some alfredo sauce for Kim of Detroit. She said her sauce was lumpy and bland. If you have a recipe you feel needs some "fixing" simply email it in to chef@fixmyrecipe.com or visit www.fixmyrecipe.com.
i think u have the best alfredo sauce recipe on youtube. ive tried other recipes and i think your recipe taste the best. do u have any other posted videos
@gsrulov sugar, not fat. simple carbs cause blood sugar to spike. You get fat from eating too much sugar (tons of cals per oz). Fat cells are fat cells...they grow because you take in more cals than you burn...can be from any source. You are mixing disparate info together into a toxic soup. Less sugar, less stress, more exercise=healthier.
@Timbit8888888 he did that because he started with olive oil. I use only butter, it goes in first. I also don't understand what is supposed to be "deglazed" here, and the wine is clearly not part of alfredo. Alfredo is easy. Melt a bunch of butter, saute garlic if you're adding it, add cream, stirring constantly...heat to simmer, whisk in cheese SLOWLY and you won't get lumps, s&p to taste. I do the whole thing over medium heat. She may have used too high a heat and dumped the cheese in.
@readynow12345 you finish mostly every pan sauce with butter, it gives it a nice, rich, deep flavor, and also helps give it a smooth, glossy consistency
This was very helpful. Thank you.

Wait why do you put the butter in last? I always thought you put butter in first? Can someone please explain? Or does it even matter?

I just made your Alfredo sauce and I am in love. This recipe was very simple with lots of flavor. I am not going back to jar alfredo. ^_^
