  • @MrBeatlesJr keith moon the greatest drummer ever

  • alot of drummers can rip off a great solo or great fills, but they seem out of place and like they are showing off. Moon did it in perfect flow with the music. Alot of modern songs would sound just as good (or bad) with a simple beat in place of the fills. The Whos songs would sound wrong without his fills, because they fit so perfectly with the beat and music. Not flashy, just raw power and perfection. That is what defines the difference between a musician and someone who just bangs drums

  • @blackwelderadam look up Dr Jimmy 82 Toronto .. Jones playes like Moon in that clip Absolutel Great ..But hes no Moon but a great performance

  • Keith Moon, probably one of the few drummers who wasn't just considered 'the drummer' of the band.

  • pete looks like ross from F.R.I.E.N.D.S :)

  • @kevman1ification I agree. After Keith died, the magic (and the humor) was gone.

  • @kevman1ification i agree, keith was the best drummer that ever lived or ever will live.

  • Hi kevman1ification.....I too was a big "Moon" fan. Keith & his family lived next to each other, and their children Mandy Moon, and Zack Starkey grew up playing together. So Zak, Ringo Star's son, saw Keith play a lot. So who do you suppose took over some of the drummers spots after that? Zac Starkey, Ringo's son. I saw them together when we still had John Entwistle. It just seemed right for Zac to be their drummer. And he worked so well in the band in the band, Zac became their drummer

  • I just couldn't get into the Who after Keith died. They never sounded right to me after that. Nobody played or plays like Moon. He was a LEAD drummer.

  • @montereypopfestiva67 Yeah a subtle and underrated track off that album. I realized the other day that its Baker singing "Blue Condition," shown have known by that thick cockney.
