@unogirl1011 That definitely doesn't count. Obviously Stefan had no control over his actions because he was compelled to be an asshole by Klaus. Damon, on the other hand, needs no compulsion to be an ass when he wants to. There's nothing wrong with Damon, he's actually my favorite character, but I just think that Stefan and Elena are a much better couple.
