Thanks for the "gg" comment. I'd like to see you be "lucky" and win against Magnus one day :-) In fact that's the fun about blitz, the time pressure. But now that FIDE has made official the addition of 2 seconds to each move (games now are 3 minutes + 2 seconds per move instead of 5 minutes), there is considerably less time pressure, and the games are much higher quality, that's good.

I don't see why there's women's and men's chess championships. They're not equal in sport but surely they are equal in mind-power?

Yes men and women have equal mind-power, however chess is not only a battle of the minds, it's also a sport, which requires great training and strength. I wrote a long post about it. Just google the 5 words kosteniuk wall street journal ridiculous and you will find it at the top.

It's much more fun playing a real person than playing a chess engine. There are the emotions, the mistakes, the plans, the strategy, it's exciting. There is very little fun playing a chess engine. Would you like to race by foot against an automobile, even if you can run super fast?

Congratulation beating the player that will become the greatest of all times.

And it was a shame how he left the table without even a handshake :(

I guess he was distacted by your butiful look.

Weren't the both of them in time pressure? I, Lelouch Vi Britannia, think, that this game was very beautiful and equal. That was a great chess game. @ChessQueen : But, to be clear, I don't consider me as a fan of yours because I'm too proud of myself as a chess player. Remember: If a king doesn't lead, then how can he expects his subordinates to follow?

    Lelouch Vi Britannia!

Great Game. You played really well. I am very happy you stood your ground and did not let him take advantage of you with the touch move rule.
