Defendant Hermann Goering consults with his lawyer, Dr. Otto Stahmer, in the Nuremberg prison at the International Military Tribunal trial of war criminals. Date: 1946 Locale: Nuremberg, [Bavaria] Germany Photographer: Ray D'Addario Credit: Nation)
NOTE: Obama Violated Oath to our Constitution: http://Tinyurl.com/ObamaViolatedOath
"Why, of course, the people don't want war," Goering shrugged. "Why would some poor slob on a farm want to risk his life in a war when the best that he can get out of it is to come back to his farm in one piece. Naturally, the common people don't want war; neither in Russia nor in England nor in America, nor for that matter in Germany. That is understood. But, after all, it is the leaders of the country who determine the policy and it is always a simple matter to drag the people along, whether it is a democracy or a fascist dictatorship or a Parliament or a Communist dictatorship."
"There is one difference," I pointed out. "In a democracy the people have some say in the matter through their elected representatives, and in the United States only Congress can declare wars."
"Oh, that is all well and good, but, voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is tell them they are being attacked and denounce the pacifists for lack of patriotism and exposing the country to danger. It works the same way in any country."
"Comments were made privately to Gustave Gilbert, a German-speaking intelligence officer and psychologist who was granted free access by the Allies"

BTW, President Bush was already bombing Iraq less than a month from stepping into office! "With the United States carrying out a sudden airstrike in Iraq today, it appears President Bush is carrying on the work of his father." *This is 2/16/2001
""Saddam Hussein has got to understand that we expect him to conform to the agreement that he signed after Desert Storm," Bush said today, referring to the conclusion of the 1991 Persian Gulf War. The 43rd president has previously said he would be willing to exert some "American muscle" against Iraq. And the strikes on radar systems near Baghdad, coming in the first month of Bush's term, make it seem as if he is pursuing a course of action intended to finish up the foreign-policy business begun by his father, George Bush, the 41st president." http://abcnews.go.com/Politics/story?id=121813&page=1&singlePage=true...
And BTW, Bush's statements from the 2000 campaign SHOULD HAVE made him unelectable. (If we had a functioning Constitutional Democratic Republic): "If I found in any way, shape, or form that he was developing weapons of mass destruction, I'd take him out," Bush said. "I'm surprised he's still there. I think a lot of other people are as well." A functioning free press would have informed voters that Bush is declaring he will use war powers he has no Constitutional right to use! See this concept explained in this video about Obama: http://Tinyurl.com/ObamaViolatedOath
Another dramatic example of the media playing the game is their refusal
to report that the Iraq War was illegal. ( By the way, I have my correspondence
with a Newsday reporter that? sheds light on how the game is played if you
are interested.) http://representativepress.blogspot.com/2004/05/dear-mr_17.html
This "everyone knows" crap is a typical way of playing things like that off. I wrote a reporter from Newsday and asked him when he was going to report that Bush's planned war on Iraq was illegal. He said "well, people know. When I say without UN authorization, people know" I pointed out that most people do not know! He thought about it and said OK, he would point it out explicitly in his next article. The next day I got an email form him saying that his editor would not let him.

  • Why does representativepress wait nearly nine years to post this video?

  • @sleepyriggles I wasn't "waiting" to post this 9 years. I have mentioned this on my blog several years ago. You an go to the Representative Press Blog and search Newsday. I alluded to it at least as early as 4005 and wrote about it at least as early as 2005. I'll add the links in the video info.

  • War against Iran would be the worst decision in the whole history of the human species. It could even mean the end of the human species.

  • @RSFO You make a valid point. As I have been trying to explain, war on Iran could lead to WWIII which many people have predicted as not survivable. I will do everything I can to stop this madness. Let's brainstorm. I welcome suggestions.

  • @representativepress Maybe not the end of the world, but certainly an attack on this country's values and on human rationality. This farce of a foreign policy cannot go on.

  • @1manmafia "This farce of a foreign policy cannot go on." I agree, and guys like Brian Williams AND those that hire guys like him are guilty of outrageous wrongs against the people.

  • We should always question whatever the media is trying to sell us, including so-called journalists. Right, RP? Guess what, friend? That includes 9-11, which instigated this whole nazi-like program of war and surveillance. The US media is an agent of mind control.

  • @slewofdamascus There was already a war program BEFORE 9/11. Clinton was bombing Iraq. Bush was bombing Iraq less than a month of stepping into office! Yes, that's right, Bush was already bombing Iraq MONTHS BEFORE 9/11!

  • Sadly, for anyone who knows about the US media, this story isnt shocking.

  • Just make a flyer of Goring's words that you included in this video. I would think anyone with a half a brain could decipher the con that has been perpetrated against americans (and mankind, in general). We got played. And the problem is, we're still getting played, only now it's a full-on assault from serious news to entertainment television and movies. The message is constant. And virtually everytime a television set is turned on, someone becomes an entranced, willing subject.

By the death of a country means the values and governmental infrastructure a regime stands on, will get destroyed. When government does not have any real money (not fake plastic money) to give as salaries, no money to run backbone projects, not a penny for basic human needs, nothing to pay for security then hungry people can only find their way into violence and anarchy. That's the destruction of a country.

  • @representativepress I don't know what we can do. I live in Denmark, which is a whole lot more democratic than USA. The Scandinavian countries are a lot more democratic than even other Western European countries. But perhaps we can push to weaken (I'd dismantle) NATO. How can we be allied with a country lead by the criminals who rule USA now? Of course, I don't see how we can stay allied with David Cameron or Sarkozy. And I don't give much for Angela Merkel either.

  • @1manmafia There is no guarantee it would lead to WWIII, but the risk is all too realistic. Certainly not worth the risk for any sane person. It is like the planet is Utøya with a mad Anders Breivik on it, only he is not directly after us, but the result could mean the death for everyone. Since we can't get away from this planet, I sincerely think there is a good case for assasinating a lot from the criminal party. I certainly don't suggest you do that! But one gets desparate!

  • göring enjoyed the war (that he started with) with taking codeine pills and organizing theft of paintings

  • Good work.Thanks.
