202 - Yule / Winter Solstice Idea's

These are just a few things for the Winter Solstice that me and my family do.

Sorry about all the um's...I had to cut down alot of my idea's for fear of going over my time-limit. There are so many more things to do at this time.

For example, make a Yule Log, Act out the Holly King and Oak King Duel, Create a Solstice Wreath, plus so much more.

The website I printed off and made my caroling booklets from about five years ago is no longer there.

@Italkem Do a bit of research and you will find that Jesus was actually born in the Spring time. Shepherds were in their fields when he was born. In the land where he was born during the winter months they bring in the flocks in November and take them out again in March. The Winter Solstice is a Pagan Holiday but the church adopted it as their own when the folks who practiced the Old Ways and the Old Religion wouldn't bend to the will of thier priests.

im kinda confused... so this year yule/ winter solstice is on the 22 are we supposed to wait up on the 21 to 22 or 22 to 23

I had a good Yule 2010. Imbolc was special :) The energy was so nice and I wish it was snowy so I could go out and draw the Sun in the snow. haha

I LOVE IT I LOVE IT I LOVE IT..... This is my first YULE EVER! ....and.....I have/had no idea what I was/am doing lmao. So... I love your videos because you give me a down to Earth perspective on what I'm doing in a way that I can relate and feel welcome doing!
