This footage is from my first day out with my new adapter and my Panasonic SD9. There's some dust, some vignetting, all fixable on my next go-round, I'm still getting used to the adapter. But all in all, I think it looks pretty good.

I'll be experimenting more with the aperture to get it looking a little less cloudy, but part of it was just that rare Seattle sun that I'm not at all used to. I've also got a new ring coming to lengthen the adapter, and hopefully get the infinity focus sharper.

  • I love my SD9 for how small it is, does this 35mm kit make it unusable for fast handheld work? Love your stuff, thanks...

  • unusuable for fast handheld work, pretty much yeah. the adapter means you can't zoom in and out, the image is flipped in the viewer, and you can't use auto-focus. so for just walking around and shooting, it's REALLY challenging.

  • the ikord is the best in at that price point.

never go for a jag - EVER.

if you really want an upgrade, go for a letus. but then you're getting into thousands of dollars..you need a better set up..etc etc etc

  • I like it well enough, it's the best by far for the price, but it's not as good as some on the next tier, price-wise. it is static, but they make vibrating ones, I just didn't want one. I do have an acromat on mine, though not every camera will need one depending on the size.

  • Hi Will,

Thx for the reply. I will check up on it some more. I would love to get this since seller is from Finland I believe and I´m in Denmark. Would make it easy instead of having to order JAG35 or twoneil from the states due to the custom taxes.

    Few Questions:

    - Are you satisfied with it

    - Is it Static

    - Can you fit a acromat

    Thx.

  • the iKord can look MUCH better. do a search for it on vimeo, you'll see, it's quite good. I was missing one ring to get the focal screen far enough for a real crisp image once the focus went to infinity, that's why it's a little fuzzy. I had the iris wide open because I didn't know how many stops I would lose, which turned out to be not many.

  • Was not rude. I guess a test is ok to be criticized.

Trying to be constructive. I am looking for a 35mm. solution for my HV30. But I was disappointed with this 1.

  • first try at using it on a bright day. and by the bye, why do people apologize for rude comments? it really de-balls them. just be rude and proud, don't apologize.

  • washed out footage - sorry.

  • Dont know how to say it correct but

Did you use an static ? you know where u put ur cam on
