the left hand does the trick, and the right hand follows, I don't even think about it,
so, it's not a technique, it's my way to play as fast as I can

@yngwie5757 Thats not 100% true I have a 2 malmsteen strats and they sound great for blues jazz shred and hard rock and Neo classical :D
but i agree ith the chords though it is easier to bar chords

it happens ,that chords sound out of tune,if you press to much the strings , the solos aswell,
moreover,the small E string keeps wanting to leave the fretboard when it's played fast (as i try to do),
but you just have to adjust your playing , and after a few hours practice, no problem !
it's a fantastic guitar ,pickups,colour, all is beautifull !

I am not sure ,that I have a real technique ..you mean the right hand ? because she does not really move ?,and the thumb and the index finger do the trick ,..i have always played this way , it's not easy to give a methode ,
i don't think ,it's so difficult

Great demo! I always wanted to add a guitar with a scalloped fretboard to my collection...One question: Have you noticed a difference in your playing when you switch to another guitar? My first guess that after playing a while on a scalloped fretboard your playing will have a "lighter" touch...

a scalloped fretboard doesn't have any value if you use to play only chords or very basic riffs ,
the Malmsteen signature stratocaster was made to play Malmsteen 's music,
it's hard to find another value in a scalloped fretboard,and monster frets.
it's right,when I alternate with a "normal" fretboard, my brain needs a few minutes... : )
