In this creative video, the girls are doing a foot stomping cheer routine to the tune of a cheer that was called L O V E. The side foot stomps & back & forth step combined with individual hand claps movements are very much like that cheer. I saw girls perform in Pittsburgh in the late 1980s. But it was performed in a semi circle & not lines. To find text examples of foot stomping cheers, google Cocojams Foot Stomping Cheers. If I remember correctly, this clip didn't have the onscreen letters/words the first time it aired. (The same girls did a chant about the number 14 later in the episode; it ended with them counting in rhythm à la Pinball Number Count: "One-two-three-FOUR-five, six-seven-eight-NINE-ten, eleven-twelve-THIR-teen, FOUR-TEEN!")
