(Re-Uploaded, as video wasn't previously in HD)

This is the first film I shot using my Canon 550D DLSR. A short documentary following my friends skateboarding and messing around in London Town.

The film was edited in Final Cut Pro 7 and colour corrected in Color 1.5.

Graphics were produced in Photoshop/After Effects cs5.

Camera lenses used were the Opteka 6.5mm Fisheye and the Canon 18-55mm Kit Lens.

Format: HDV-1920x1080 25FPS.

The musics all done by 'Beirut'
First Track is: Carousels.
Second track is: My family's role in the world revolution.

The film was screened at "Under Grey Skies' A film/art/photography exhibition at the Ground Floor Gallery in Whitechapel on December 2nd 2010, along with some of my previous skateboard filmography and work from a number of other artists.

  • its not going to brick you're camera its just on the SD card, There is not a lot of info on the Opteka 6.5mm is it any good in your view?

    Thanks

    Dan

  • @barrysbaps01 Yeah, I guess, I'm cool for the moment though. Yeah I like the Opteka, good lens, solid build, no vignette, pretty cheap, Check it out.

  • The video looks really nice, what do you think of the Opteka 6.5mm?

Are you useing magic lantern it can help with Canon 550D films, hope the best you.

    Dan

  • @barrysbaps01 Cheers, Yeah its the Opteka 6.5. Not using Magic Lantern, bit paranoid about my camera bricking it, wait for future versions I reckon.
