WRC 1985: Safari Rally (Round 4)

The Safari Rally was unbelievable 5,167 km long in 1985 (record being in 1975 - 5,927 km!). Though the statistics does not tell what was the actual "competitive distance" but about 40-50 % would be good guess. Last time Safari was run with WRC status was in 2002, total distance being 2,432 km and "competitive sections" 1,011 km.

@jps13party Yet the most horrible spectator-related accident happened in Portugal. In 1986, Joaquim Santos lost control and 31 spectators were injured and three were killed.
