I suppose you also think violinists, and cellists use too much vibrato and rubato also?
So it should more robotic?
Its called "musicianship" and is THE life of the music.
You can't play it like a mechanical metronome and call it beautiful!

i don't know how bach or scarlatti should be performed, i enjoy the music when the performer has something to say. that's why i like the renditions of angel and lucca pianca.
