  • @curtdog223 The pistons are totally symmetric, it's just the flywheel that would be applying lateral force to the axle and making it vibrate. Could they design the flywheel so that it's centre of gravity was the same as a the equivalent sized disc? Counterweight the inset side of the flywheel, make the outer edge hollow and lightweight? If you put it on a table, it should spin on it's axis... I think it's possible....

  • Is the crank/hub geared to the an output shaft?

  • dejaviline used a 9 cylinder round motor in the single engine otter through the 50's many are still in use this is a very durable design with alot of torque but there is alot of vibration in radial engines

    Der Motor hat keine Unwucht.

    Das Gegengewicht zur Pleuelaufnahme ist die Kurbelwelle.

  • Mit so einer Unwucht kann es kaum funktionieren!!
