Part 2 of 2 - The following is an unofficial documentary on the basketball career of high school legend Ronnie Fields. I have tried many times to make an official documentary, but have never been able to. However, I am still interested and you never know what could happen.

Fields might be the most famous basketball player to never make it to the NBA. But as this movie will prove, it is not always about who has the most talent that determines who makes it to the NBA.

This movie will provide some insight into the talent of this man, as well as some of the things he went through during his career. It also contains game footage never released to the public until now.

Thanks for the support and I hope you all enjoy it. And as always, please feel free to email me with any comments or suggestions.

  • If the young americans from high school and college dont make it to the NBA, europe will definetly take them as long as the players show interest.

  • untrue. We have two great players with Air Bama and Special FX with great college backgrounds and stats...and still haven't been picked up

  • It takes more than talent? Dude broke his neck, obviously hes not goin anywhere, that statement is misplaced

  • He came back after that, He had a few minor off court issues that played part

  • @heldsa i want to be greater than he was back in day

  • he inspires me. I had car accident like 3 months ago. I almost broke my neck, but now i'm almost okey. after watching this video i got a lot motivation to improve my game and leaping ability. i want to be a great basketball player. accident's like these make you think about your life and about this are you living correctly. now i realized that i must keep improve.

  • hes a rapist. i live in chicago and my old music teacher taught him and garnett. he told us that some of his best girl students used to come back to him crying telling him that ronnie raped them after a date.. so fuck ronnie

  • just goes to show how important school is. I hope Ronnie goes out and starts preaching from that platform.

  • I am from Chicago and kudo's man......Great video dude. Real nice.

  • I seen the cat in Columbus in 95-96. Was a really good player. The accident and that prob with the girl ruined his. Hope he is doing well. I'll alwayz will remember him.

  • yo what is tat song?

  • This video is dumb. Without the tragic car accident, this guy would of been at the least a good nba player. I think you lose a little when you break your damn neck! Think about it

  • whats the song at the end?

  • I first heard of who he was when I got the "SLAM: Top 50 Dunkers of All-Time" issue. He was ranked something like #11 and it had this picture of him just monster trucking over this guys shoulders for a dunk. I believe he was the only player on the list that didn't play college or pro ball...
