@didubz excuse me hook my convertors adat to the rme hdsp card! and what was stolen was the fireface 800, the unit was solid for a all in one solution, just not my cup of tea, check my videos to see where this comment is coming from..
I bought some apogee convertors, had this stolen long story, but I never got the sound I was shooting for! It's good don't get me wrong, I just bought a rme hdsp pci card to hook my convertors firewire!! They make solid gear, the unit is nice, but compared to my apogees lets just say no comment.. Clock is solid, but we are talking money here.. apogee is quite a bit more!
@beannie45 Seriously? Did you steal that one from your neighbour or what? Man you're buying a 1600$ professional audio card without knowing how to connect your monitoring? Wow.... Some guys aren't running out of money in this world indeed. Just look at the back of your card there's something named "line input". Ringing a bell?
Can anyone tell me the best way to connect monitors to the rme fireface 800, I am connecting via the headphone/monitor output at the front of the interface at the moment, is there a better way?
This product was recommended to me by the guys over @ Yamaha to interface my 01v96 into my DAW. However, Yamaha would soon, release an mlan card to make the mixing console interface directly with the computer so I held off on purchasing this particular interface until now. And let me just say that this is one of the most user friendly interfaces I have owned so far and it's really easy to set up. I've received in the mail 3 days ago and I can't take my hands off of it. It's features are solid.
