Thank u for comments. Only SoHC V6. The same engine in ALPINE A 310 V6 150 hp or ALPINE V6GT 160 hp.

I allwys prefered the V6 PRV over any Alfa Romeo or even Ferrari 8.32 engine, the sound of PRV with good exhaust is best of all.

The PRV V6 is a 90 degree engine. It runs a little bit rough, because the at the first generation the crank shaft journals didn't have the offset necessary for an equal firing order. It's a characteristic sound - of course.

@Klottelitsch Yep!! You just can't beat the sound of a good 604 V6!!! No Mercedes engine even comes CLOSE to the quality, reliability and durability of the PRV V6!!! And You're so RIGHT about the 604 being faster!!! I can't even count how many Mercedes drivers I've left in my wake!!!

I honestly and sincerely think that the 604 is a MUCH better quality car than any Mercedes ever built, It handles better, It's WAY more comfortable than any Mercedes I've ever driven or ridden in (Mine has Velour) And it's WAY more reliable than any Mercedes out there!!

I just bought my friend's 1980 604 SL V6 with automatic that he bought new, He's kept it in absolute, pristine condition all these years!! It's always been garaged, And still looks, runs & drives like new!!! I tell you the V6 604 is WAY better than the diesel version!!!
