October 25, 2009, found beautiful indian summer light on the last remnants of the year's foilage. First up, we see a northbound NS train with an increasingly rare Conrail unit in the consist going around the curve at Milepost 80. We catch this train again as it snakes along the sheer rock face at Milepost 72, slowing down as it enters the siding at Clarksville. Within minutes, a train of empties led by two CSX engines proceeds south. Finally, we catch more northbound coal under NS power at Creek Road,
