  • How long did this take to complete?

  • @Kasen717 I think I worked on it for a little over 2-3 hours. The drawing itself however, I had done many years prior while in college. This was just inking and coloring.

  • i just got my cintip wx how did you get photoshop on it screen by itself? did you drag it over to the cintiq?

  • @ebassify I use my Cintiq as the monitor itself for that particular computer. I did that on purpose so I wouldn't need to fool around with multiple screens. However, that ties up that one computer pretty well.

  • Do you still pencil traditionally, scan it and go digitally from there, I hear some people say totally digital is good but I find traditional pencils easier even though scanning takes some time. What is your opinion?

  • @superman200er0 I have done both. The calvin and hobbes pictures were originally drawn with pencil, but that was long before I ever got the wacom. Since I've gotten it I normally draw everything from scratch on the wacom. However there's nothing to stop you from scanning your sketches in and inking them on the cintiq. Just your preference I suppose.

  • screw saving up for a moped im gettin one of these!

  • hey i just got my cintiq 12wx..

how do u draw with it..

the screen doesnt just give me the normal friction of pencil on paper feeling..i guess im not used to it yet..but it feels so wierd..

and what brush (size) do u use for your initial sketches b4 inking..

  • @fademartin thank you.

  • @AmiraFrazier a dry linen cloth. there are more specific videos at the Wacom channel here on You Tube, they have all kinds of tutorial videos there and among them are cleaning tips. another good way is to get the Smudge Glove and avoid the situation from the beginning, or just make one with an old 'smooth' glove.

  • @Nmason78 Christmas is around the corner. Have fun with it!

  • I am like obsessed with this thing! I am going to get it for christmas and cannot wait to get it! My dream in life is to become an animator, and I belive this can help me do so. Sorry to be so dramatic lol
