This ls the contemporary wushu version of the set. He doesn't have a bridge. It's impossible to bridge (properly) if you lock your joints. Either way, good contemporary wushu, just not martial

well...i think he is great!

it always makes me wonder why someone judges a style by some videos without even knowing what it includes. Bridge Hands what others call Chi Sau ect are from hung gar for example. if someone is not trained it looks slow. if someone is practising a lot you would wonder how fast and precise the forms are. and not everything that is truly interesting is on youtube. if you want to learn look for a good teacher and do it. the net is too much talking.

a few little things are done different some moves of the hands ect. it looks like he does a lot of Choy Lay Fut as well. the arms are at usual speed for hung gar despite what some mention here. i know hung gar people with even more speed and power. lam sai wing's lineage including lam cho had some very talented skilled people - speed strength endurance are not unusual in that matter. just because you know only what is on youtube around does not mean hung gar is slow.
-
its hung gar but from someone else's lineage, you can see he does wide stances but not low enough like traditional hung gar practicioners.
-
Why?
-
Yes.
But he practices in a non-hung gar way.
His energy development is not Hung though?
Is he of the Hung Ga System? What system does this practitioner come from? If he's of another system that may explain the speed difference. If Hes Hung Ga he may just play the technique differently.
Either way I feel his KUNGFU is good.

He is faster than a lot of Hung Ga I've seen but his force comes from his positioning and footwork. His fundamental steps and postures are accurate. His energy is rooted.
He does not come up from his stance.
