She needs a better coach, but I doubt this will get her to the top standings, since she has already lost much time. If she had a good coach from the very beginning, and no problems, she would have some prospects. I am very sad for this because I love watching her, and she is one talented skater. It's a shame she can't get sufficient training.

You can't always blame Elene Genedavinshvilli.... Alissa Czisny has trouble with her consistency and yet, she never gives up and is still competing in the figure skating competition. She is also getting much better with her consistency now. And the same will apply to Elene as long she gets some consistent training, alexruski.

i wonder who the hell is her coach... She always gets ditzy silly superficial programs that are suitable only for 12 year old beginners. Can't she see what Mao Asada, Yu Na Kim, or Miki Ando's coaches are doing? all of them have SERIOUS dramatic programs with superb artistic performances.. till when Elene should hover on silly -fast roller coster spanish music or cabaret? enough is enough....her costumes are silly too, with cheap show-girl looking sequins and trashy sparkles. Get some taste

Her flexibility is so much like Sasha's though her consistency was problematic like Alissa's. But I know that she's improving her overall consistency so she will regain a competitive edge and advantages over her competitors. And her dress makes her sparkle! I also love this performance as it is so beautifully performed by this very lovely young woman.

It's so frustrating not seeing her as one of the top contenders. I mean, she's got it all and she amazed the skating world when she made the top 6 at the olympics on the short program. I still believe in her but I'd love to her on the top of the sport because her talent is worth it.
