Ultra obscure Japanese TV pilot episode proposal. Created by P-Productions in 1967. Weird tokusatsu action with very low-tech effects and animation. This time our hero is transformed into a Leopard-Man (wearing a nice tie) in a secret underground science laboratory. He slowly grows fur through a sequence of awkward fades and cuts, like so many werewolf films that have come before. This show was never made into a television series, which is a darn shame. Pure Z-Grade heaven.

This appears to be an early prototype for P-Productions later popular Saturday morning TV show from 1973... TETSUJIN TIGER SEVEN.

  • Very awesome. Is the cape organic? That would be useful if he shed drapes, since most cats can't help but shred those things.
