yea...for fellow v6's shopping for an exhaust for your truck. this is a 40 series flowmaster. Single input, with dual output.

sound badass at idle, but becomes "ricey" at higher rpms/wot

i've also got a video of what it sounds like in the interior of truck.

  • long live red v6 rams with black bumpers! i have one myself except its the 08 model, stock version...got it thru the cash for clunkers program by trading in my 1988 ram...i needed a full size that gets good gas milage and could get me thru college...v6 is the way to go for that

  • these v6 rams suck...lol

wanna buy mine? i hate this thing. no matter what you do, it will never EVER leave the vicinity of "slow"...won't even get to 'normal'...permanently "slow". with the gearing and crap on my truck, my truck shines from about 0-35...then it's just a dog as usual.

  • @vex270 haha youll get your dad one day

  • @joel92mor

i thought my 98 chevy was freakn slow till my brother got hes 08 v6 ram. thought i was fast for a sec till my dad flew past in his hemi :( lol

  • @derricksmash Hi, I would disagree. I have a 95 Dodge Dakota Sport with the V6/5speed manual tranny. Have added headers, msd ignition system, egk plugs, Holley branded Throttle Body style carb, and this thing would hang with the R./T dakotas,. Its a blast to drive, kids love the (Slam the head back/cant move for the first 5 seconds..)..lol. has 180,000 miles on it, and still runs like a champ, Oh, and coverted to Push Start button(before Dodge started it) .

  • @derricksmash i know how u feel man i hate my 4.7 v8 to slow also i wish i had the 5.7

  • @derricksmash Get a Hemi, I love mine, more power then I need and they sound great. And I almost guarantee it'll get as good or better gas mileage.

  • hey i was jw does this truck have cats or no?

  • I think the V6's with flowmasters on them sound good during idle, but there is just something about that V6/flowmaster sound when revving that makes me cringe. I was just curious how they sounded, been looking at a Ram V6 and it is a must that I make my truck sound good. Thanks for the post, it was more informing than you think.
