Beep baseball is a special sport for people who are blind or low vision. To keep things fair, all players except the pitcher where blindfolds. You're invited to check out this unique sport where the pitcher and batter are teammates, the bases buzz and the ball beeps.
If you listen closely during these clips you can here the beep of the ball and the buzzing of the bases.
Cleo Stephens scored the go-ahead run Sunday as the Sonics beat Dallas 5-4 to win third place at the Wichita Regional Beep Baseball Tournament. Chares Anderson batted .562 and made the tournament All-Star team.
Wichita was 2-2 for the tournament and is now 3-5 for the year.
The Kansas Allstars, led by Steve Stambaugh, Vice President, Envision Vision Rehabilitation Center, avenged two earlier losses to Colorado and beat them 11-3 to win the championship.
