Can there be any doubt NOW that the Bee Gees are the best band from the 1960s? From Unreleased Album "A Kick In The Head Is Worth 8 In The Pants"

  • @raponte1955 Actually, the Bee Gees are an indespensible part of the 60s AND 70s. Can U imagine what today's music would be like without Stayin Alive and Night Fever being stamped in history? But to answer your question, check out the 1966 album (although not available on CD) Spicks & Specks. It showcases the birth of the unique talent of this often dismissed group.

  • Wish they would have thought of another name for this song. Don Mcleans song with the same name is much better.

  • yes and i wish they had thought of another title for its album, a kick in the head is worth 8 in the pants. Needless to say the record company didnt like it, and was never released.

  • Very nice Thanks for posting. Also a few pics I havent seen before. Great video. Thanks. That pic of Robin at 1:25 never saw, hairdo really gone wrong-really bizarre looking.

  • its like David Bowie you have met your match!

  • I have listened to this like 10 times in a row

  • I feel so bad this wasn't released. This song is GREAT!!

Robin's vocals are FANTASTIC!! Every time I listen to him in this song I literally cry.

  • bee gees are the BEST band in the world!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! when you've listened to music all your life and can't get eough of an artist.. that's says something

  • the band gave a great change to the music, awesome

  • If there is any doubt as to the genius and versatility of the Bee Gees, type in ODESSA.

  • @raponte1955 I'm not convinced they are the best, since I think that there are too many great bands out there. Still, the Bee Gees had some very important albums and songs. They had some bad ones, as well. Still, any group that has lasted as long as they did are bound to have their up and downs. The thing is, they seem to have more good stuff than bad, so they deserve a good reputation.

  • my favorite part 0:29 to 0:35 !!

  • Whoa, whoa, whoa, this *really* needs pitched down. Much too fast.
